Men’s Designer T Shirts: What You Need to Know!

By  |

T-shirts are a great choice for the everyday gentleman. They’re easy-wearing and pair well with other items in your wardrobe pretty seamlessly. This makes investing in some decent men’s designer t-shirts a pretty smart idea! Hopefully, the tips below will help you find that perfect tshirt. Let’s go!

Men’s Designer T Shirts: Tips ahead!!

  • When it comes to men’s designer t-shirts, you will very quickly realize that there are a lot of companies out there who will try and palm t-shirts off on you for a very low price. You do, however, need to know that if a company is offering branded t-shirts far cheaper than anywhere else, it is probably a ‘fake’. You see, designer companies are very particular about who they deal with and the price point at which their clothing is sold at. They typically do not want retailers to sell too cheap as it devalues their brand.
  • Try a shirt on before you purchase it if you can. Sizes differ drastically from company to company. A “large” with one may not necessarily be a “large” with another when it comes to men’s designer t-shirts. If you do not try the shirt on or at least pay attention to that particular company’s sizing charts (if you’re buying online) beforehand, it is likely that your t-shirt might not fit properly.
  • When it comes to colours, you do not want to get anything too extravagant when building your base wardrobe. Sure, a red or a pink shirt may look good, but it is not going to be ideal for every situation and it is not going to fit with everything in your wardrobe. If you only have a small amount of cash to spend, you should only get men’s designer t-shirts which have a bit of a neutral colour to them. Many people find that blues, blacks, and grey colours tend to work very well. Obviously, if you do have a bit of cash to spend, and trust me, men’s designer t-shirts could set you back a healthy packet of cash (depending on where you shop), then you can start venturing into those other colours. Bottom line, it’s imperative to express your own individuality with whatever you end up purchasing.
  • The ideal shirt should not be overly baggy, neither should it be too tight. The type you choose will be dependent on your body type. If you are a bit of a gym junkie and have made some good progress with those guns :-), you may want to choose a t-shirt that is slightly tighter than the norm. If you are packing a bit of extra weight, chose something loose – simples!
  • You will know a t-shirt fits you well if the seams of the sleeve are in line with your shoulder. If they are too low down, the shirt is too large. The bottom of the t-shirt should be roughly the length of your hips. Any shorter than that, and it becomes too short. If you have had a few too many hamburgers, your whole midriff will start to expose itself when you walk, which is never a good look.

This is a really good spot to buy t-shirts online at pretty good prices. The selection is pretty large so take your time to browse well and pick ones that you feel most comfortable with!
